ZYP Coatings

Merit construction completed a significant addition and renovation for ZYP Coatings in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. ZYP Coatings, Inc. was established in 1982 and specializes in producing the most complete line of paintable refractory coatings for high-temperature protection of metals, ceramics, and graphite.

Merit’s work included a two-story addition to the office and metal panels to the building’s exterior to give ZYP a sleek, modern look. The additional space will add significant office capacity for administration and research & development. The new, modern building will help recruit top talent and allow ZYP Coatings to serve a fast-growing demand for their products.
