Shannon Sapp is the CEO / President and a shareholder of Merit Construction. He joined the company in 1996 after graduating from Auburn University in 1994 with a degree in Building Construction. Over the years, Shannon has played an integral role in a wide range of projects, including medical facilities, schools, historic renovations, churches, condominiums, and retail office buildings.
As CEO & President Shannon is focused on the overall operations of Merit Construction, ensuring that every customer’s experience is exceptional.
Professionally, Shannon is actively engaged with the Associated General Contractors of America.
Shannon resides in Knoxville with his wife, Karen. They have two adult sons, Collin and Parker, and are members of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church.
