Merit Construction has some exciting news to share. Shannon Sapp, president of Merit Construction, has announced the promotion of Tommy Cutcher to vice president of the company.
Tommy joined Merit in 2005 as a project estimator and project manager. He was promoted to project executive in 2021, and over his two decades with the company he has become one of our most trusted leaders. He has overseen eleven projects on the University of Tennessee campus, along with work in Johnson City, Newport, Sevierville, and communities across East Tennessee.
Tommy holds a degree in Construction Engineering Technology from East Tennessee State University, a general contractor's license in Florida, and a masonry contractor's license in Tennessee. He served on the Board of Directors of the Associated General Contractors from 2022 to 2023.
Congratulations, Tommy. This one is well-earned.
