Merit Construction, Inc. constructed a new parking garage for Blount Memorial Hospital on its main campus in Maryville, TN. The site considerations were very difficult. Street closures and close coordination with the owner and design team were critical to the success of this project. The scope of the project included construction of a 40' high concrete counterfort wall on 299 steel H-piles as well as the construction of numerous retaining walls to establish subgrade for the structure.
