Rock-Tenn, one of the largest recycling firms in the world, chose Merit Construction to construct their new manufacturing facility in Knoxville. The project, a pre-engineered structure with tilt-up concrete walls including a railroad spur, went through an extensive value engineering process prior to the start of construction to deal with difficult site conditions.
