Representatives from Knox County Schools, Knox County Purchasing, the Public Building Authority, the Knoxville Community Development Corporation and the Knox County Mayor’s office considered several proposals from construction management firms to build the newest high school in Knox County in over 20 years. Merit Construction, Inc. was selected based on superior construction management experience as well as the most competitive fee and general conditions proposal.  The Hardin Valley High School is estimated to be completed in mid-2008.
