Theresa Adcock, CHST, Safety Director

Theresa Adcock has been involved with construction safety for over fifteen years. Theresa has been instrumental in establishing Merit’s safety program which has been awarded the Associated General Contractors Construction Safety Excellence Award in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009 for the state of Tennessee (note, winners of this award are not eligible to win the following year).

Theresa has developed a variety of training and safety programs to support Merit’s personnel on jobsites. Theresa is a Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST) as designated by the United States Council on Certification of Health, Environment and Safety Technologists. She is a member of American Society of Safety Engineers.  Theresa has also attended the OSHA Training Institute at Georgia Tech.

Theresa is a native of Knoxville. Theresa and her husband live in Knoxville and have three adult daughters.
