Shannon E. Sapp

Shannon Sapp joined Merit Construction in 1996 and is a shareholder with the firm. He is a 1994 graduate of the Building Construction program at Auburn University.

Shannon’s experience has included a wide range of projects including schools (new construction and renovation), historic renovations, churches, parking garages, condominiums and office buildings.

Shannon is actively engaged in project management and estimating at Merit. He has managed projects such as the main entrance to the Knoxville Zoo, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Greeneville High School, First Presbyterian Church and the Harbor Crest Condominiums Phase I & II.

Shannon is actively involved with the Associated General Contractors of Tennessee, Central Baptist Church of Bearden, Knox Youth Sports as a coach and Nucleus Knoxville.

Shannon lives in Knoxville with his wife, Karen, and twin pre-school-aged sons.
